On August 13, Microsoft warned of four critical vulnerabilities (CVE-2019-1181, CVE-2019-1182, CVE-2019-1222, and CVE-2019-122) similar to WannaCry and the BlueKeep crisis in the official blog post. As with the 4 "wormable" vulnerabilities, hackers could use them to spread malware without any user action.

"An attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could execute arbitrary code on the target system. An attacker could then install programs; view, change, or delete data; or create new accounts with full user rights.” Now Microsoft is sending a red alert to Windows 10 and other system users to install and apply the updates immediately.

If you are using Windows Update, the latest KB4508433 and the cumulative update KB4512508 will be offered to you automatically. You can search "Windows Updates" in the search bar to double-check it and make sure it has been applied correctly.
